Alais Stormtooth

Continuing my series of space marine captains, this is Alais Stormtooth, of the Eagle Warriors. The model was quite bumpy so I'm not super happy with the finish of the white areas, but some parts look great, like her right pauldron and her cloak. Eagle Warriors have a great colour scheme, and I created the blue by combining blue and a little green.

Ultramarine Captain!

Another space marine captain! Yep, I'm doing a lot of these! It also kinda makes sense to have an Ultramarine captain, since I have a tactical squad already.

This is Mikael Fabian, who is the canonical captain of the Third Company and Master of the Arsenal. This model, although sold as a generic ultramarine captain, is normally considered to represent Mikael Fabian, so it made sense for me to paint it as such. I painted him exactly as represented in the 7th ed space marine codex. 

 

Oh dear lord, this is blue as well...

A squad of Guilliman's finest needs a transport, doesn't it? At least that's what I told myself when I looked at the three undercoated drop pods sitting on my shelf and decided one needed to be painted in Ultramarine colours. A Drop Pod is pretty easy to paint, as long as you can keep the paint smooth and don't get too confused about how many sides it's got as you keep rotating and rotating it!
