Ordo Chronos!

Hey all! Something that will be news to you is that I'm slowly working on an Ordo Chronos warband. The warband will contain a lot of grimy looking servants and a steampunk aesthetic. These models embody that perfectly - they're two robotic dogs from Wild West Exodus, that came free with Miniature Wargames magazine.

Second is this inquisitorial transport vehicle. I thought I'd posted this a while back when I made it, but maybe I didn't! Here it is. The vehicle comes from Wargame Exclusive. The Inquisitor who rides in it doesn't yet exist, but they will do soon! The vehicle itself will be the only part that's particularly blinged up, as the Inquisitor has an exaggerated sense of their own importance!

Electro Priests

Usually I paint models for inclusion in armies, but sometimes I just paint models for the sheer beauty of them. These are such models. I bought these recently and decided to paint them up in a Ryza colour scheme. I went for this scheme as it involved colours I don't use often. I really couldn't go with Mars, since I've painted so much red (Khorne) over the years!

Anyway, hope you like!

Introducing the Wings of Vrayax

Here I introduce the force known as the Wings of Vrayax. This force, formerly known as the Planetary Defence Force of Vrayax, were the defenders of their Imperial home planet until a series of events led them to secede from the Imperium and become independent. Now their task is harder than ever as the Imperium seeks to reclaim the planet or wipe them out.

Below is the first squad. This is made from 'female arcadian guard' models from Victoria Miniatures, with a extra head (the one wearing a hijab) from Shapeways, a heavy bolter from the Imperial Guard Valkyrie kit and a cat from Bad Squiddo Games.

Over the comng weeks, I hope to bring you more of these folks as I build the army!

Khorngors!

One of my newer projects is a small warband led by the Daemon Prince, Doombreed. I have built Doombreed and he is currently awaiting the first stages of paint! His warband hails from a daemon world primarily inhabited by Khorne-worshipping beastmen, or Khorngors, and this is the first squad of such fellows. They are built from the Ungor kit, with the additions from Tzaangor, bloodletter and Imperial Guard kits. The cloak on the champion is a resin one from a non-GW barbarian miniature. The squad is quite simply constructed really, but works well, I think. For the next squad, I might get more adventurous and add some mutations or other unique features. I'm looking forward to building them, but I have to paint some other models first. My painting queue kind of built up over the summer and I'm slowly whittling it down. I'm not trying to get it to zero, but it'd be nice to get it down to a sensible size before building more models! Enjoy the Khorngors.

Leviathan Dreadnought

Today's mini is a humble Leviathan Dreadnought. This is one of the Forge World ones, which I bought just before the plastic one came out...
