Time for another classic model! This time, it is Blood Angels Sanguinary Priest, Brother Corbulo. I couldn't resist getting a model who holds a chalice full of blood (and you know you couldn't either!) Is this the very essence of grimdark? Quite nice to paint, and I tried to recreate the same highlight technique as seen on the Blood Angels Captain.
I've posted quite a lot of infantry recently, so I hope to post something different very soon!

Wolf Scouts
Just a quick update today, with a squad of Wolf Scouts, led by Thorbjorn! These are all metal models, except for Thorbjorn's plastic sword.

Olga Katiah, communications officer
The Wings of Vrayax are slowly growing, and today I add a model to the Command Squad; Olga Katiah. She is the communications officer, relaying Olenya Heldane's orders to the waiting air support vehicles and ground troops. The model comes from Raging Heroes' range. Raging Heroes make a variety of femme-presenting models, and some are great, like this one here, and some are clearly 'designed for the male gaze', to put it gently. They do give you a choice of metal or resin though, which is handy. I chose metal, since it's a little more sturdy than resin when you have small parts.
Olga's back.
The Command Squad (and Officer of the Fleet) so far.

Finally... in my grasp!
It's been a long time coming, but I finally have my hands on some of the Traitor Guard from Blackstone Fortress. I really wanted them when the box was released, to add to my growing legion of Renegades and Heretics. However, not wanting to buy the entire boxset, I waited until these models became available separately on eBay, for a sensible price. I did the same for the Cultists of the Abyss. So here you can see nine miniatures to be added to my Black Legion Cultist force.
Below you see those who have assault weapons. Two have been converted by swapping their left hands, and some have had spikes removed, since I think they were a little too spiky compared to the other cultists in my army.
and here are those with shooty weapons, again with some spikes removed. It's nice to have another heavy stubber to call on - this weapon is hard to come by in the GW range!
Thank you for reading!
