You'd be forgiven for thinking I had moved on from painting Khornate models, with all the variety in the last few weeks. Fear not though - I am still very much a worshipper at the Skull Throne! Here is something that took a while to get painted, but I am very happy with! Havocs for the Bloodstorm, on 32mm bases, and carrying reaper autocannons. The cannons came from Kromlech.
And as if by magic, the Divine Exorcists saw this expansion of the Bloodstorm firepower and decided they needed more firepower of their own, so they built a Stormhawk Interceptor! This was a lot of fun to build and paint, since it's my first ever flyer! Making the base was interesting - I drew round the transparent part without sticking it down, then avoided putting any sand or paint on that section, allowing me to cement the transparent part to the base once the base was painted. I heard that superglue ruins the finish of the transparent plastic, so I wanted to make sure I could use poly cement (which requires a clean surface to work).
Thanks for reading!
